Twenty-five doors, and behind them a very generous idea of what a beauty routine looks like. The M&S Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 puts Estée Lauder and Benefit beside ESPA and Aveda, tucks a Sweed lipstick in with a This Works body whip, and saves a pillow mist for the nights when the only plan is an early one. Makeup, skincare, hair, body and fragrance all get their turn, and at £75, the whole thing arrives at a price that feels almost polite.
£75 · claimed worth over £450 · 25 products · 10 claimed full sizes · Sparks early access 1–7 October · on sale 13 October 2026
The numbers
The M&S Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is £75, with a claimed worth of over £450 across 25 products. Ten of those are claimed full sizes, among them Benefit’s BADgal Bounce Mascara, Sweed’s Le Lipstick and Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Smooth & Blur primer. The doors run from makeup and nails through skincare and haircare, and finish on a long, slow stretch of body, bath and fragrance.
It isn’t on sale just yet. Sparks members get early access from 1 to 7 October 2026, and the calendar goes on general sale on 13 October. If you’ve set your heart on one, that Sparks week is the window to plan around. The M&S Foodhall Advent Calendar has already sold out, and with this line-up behind the doors at £75, we suspect the beauty calendar could go even faster. Sparks is free to join, which makes it the easiest way to be near the front of the queue.
Does it pique our interest?
It does, and it’s the breadth that wins us over. The makeup doors carry real weight: a full-size BADgal Bounce you’ll genuinely get to the bottom of, a 40ml Double Wear Smooth & Blur primer from one of the most dependable complexion names on the counter, and ICONIC London’s Glazing Gloss in Sugar Cookie, a shade that could have been chosen with December in mind. Nails Inc adds a pink polish, It’s Topless in Dakota, the kind of pretty little extra a calendar does so well.

Skincare is quieter, and thoughtful with it. A Pai cleansing oil to begin the evening, The Organic Pharmacy’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum, a Formula peptide night cream, and PRAI’s Throat & Décolletage Serum. Haircare follows with Color Wow’s Money Mist, Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer and Sam McKnight’s Happy Endings Balm, which is a lovely trio to have on the shelf.
And then there’s the body, bath and fragrance edit, which is where M&S shows it understands how a calendar is actually lived with in the dark weeks before Christmas. ESPA’s Tri-Active Body Butter, a Cowshed bath and shower gel, This Works’ Deep Sleep Body Whip and an &Sleep pillow mist read like a long bath followed by a very early night. Floral Street’s Ylang Ylang Espresso and a pair of Discover scents round off the fragrance, so these doors smell every bit as good as they feel. Nothing here is making up the numbers.
What we’d change
Our wish list for next year is short, and none of it is about the brands already inside.
Both Discover fragrances come from M&S’s own line. We’d happily keep one and give the other place to a second fragrance house — this calendar is at its best when it’s introducing you to something new, and fragrance is the perfect place to do it.
The Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo and conditioner are on the small side at 50ml each: lovely for a trial or a weekend bag, though we’d love a little more of them.
And Clinique’s All About Eyes Rich comes in at 5ml, the smallest thing in the box. It’s a good eye cream to get to know, so we’d simply welcome a bigger pot of it.
