Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026: The Best One Yet?

An open Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 tower with pale blue doors folded back, its numbered yellow drawers pulled open to reveal skincare, makeup and haircare products spilling out against a yellow background

The Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 packs 40 products, four fragrances and a £195 serum behind 25 doors — priced at £250. Here’s whether it earns that hype.

The numbers

The Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is £250, with a claimed value of £1,278 across 40 products behind 25 doors. It launched 1 September, sold out its first batch almost immediately, and is now back in stock.

Does it pique our interest?

Yes — the Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 leans makeup-forward rather than skincare-heavy. Gucci, Lisa Eldridge, Huda Beauty, REFY, Burberry and Marc Jacobs Beauty all show up here, and it feels current rather than leaning on the same three or four “safe” names every calendar reaches for.

There are some genuinely thoughtful pairings too — a Colour Wow shampoo and conditioner sit together, so do two Manucurist nail treatments, and a Kylie Cosmetics lip glaze is paired with its own lip liner. Small touches, but they show someone thought about how the drawers would actually get used.

Fragrance-wise, there are four very different scents, including a full-size 50ml Discothèque Lola at Coat Check (claimed RRP £130) and a wearable 30ml Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede — a nice spread between “investment scent” and “easy daily wear.”

What we’d change

The overall mix could be better balanced. Although the makeup selection initially looks varied, it leans heavily towards lips, with two lip colours, two treatments or glazes, a lip stain and a liner. The shades—Violine, Rose Petal, Rosa and Blueberry Jelly—also sit within a fairly narrow colour story, which may limit their appeal across different preferences and skin tones. We would have liked to see one or two of these swapped for more bodycare, particularly as the Sol de Janeiro shower oil is the only true body product included, despite the dry brush also being counted within that category.
