The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 has been one of the most talked-about of the season before it’s even dispatched, and at £270 for 32 products, it’s easy to see why people want to know if it’s actually worth it. We’ve gone through everything Harrods has published about what’s inside — every door, every brand, every extra — to work out what’s genuinely exciting, what’s a bit filler, and whether this is a calendar we’d want sitting under the tree ourselves.
Does it pique our interest?
Short answer: the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 mostly earns it, yes — with a couple of things worth knowing before you pre-order.
This is a skincare-led calendar, not a variety box, and the brand list makes that obvious: Augustinus Bader, La Prairie, Valmont, Sisley, Shiseido, Medik8, Tatcha, Clé de Peau. Nearly half of what’s inside is skincare, and there’s a real absence of the gummies-and-powders filler that pads out a lot of calendars at this price. If your bathroom shelf already has brands like these on it, this is a genuinely appealing line-up. If you’re newer to luxury skincare, it’s a strong introduction to a lot of well-regarded names in one box.
The thing that actually got our attention wasn’t the £270 price or the value claims doing the rounds online — it’s that two products alone come close to covering the whole calendar: the Augustinus Bader Rich Eye Cream (£170) and the Valmont Prime Renewing Pack (£168) come to £338 combined, comfortably more than the £270 you’d pay for all 32 products.
Where it’s weaker: fragrance gets a single look-in, a travel-size Montale spray, so if scent discovery is what you’re after, this isn’t the calendar for you — Harrods’ separate 12 Days of Fragrance calendar would serve you better, though it sold out online within hours of launching (faster than last year) and your best shot now is in-store during the September general sale. There are also two lipsticks in fairly similar shades, which feels like a missed chance for more variety.
Pique Picks: what we’re most excited about

Augustinus Bader The Rich Eye Cream (full-size, RRP £170) — the headline act of the whole calendar. On its own it costs more than the calendar itself, and it’s the kind of product people actively repurchase rather than try once and forget.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick (full-size) — the one universally recognisable, guaranteed-to-get-used product in the whole calendar. Not the most interesting item on paper, but it earns its door.
Shiseido Future Solution LX Eye & Lip Contour Cream (full-size, RRP £186) — quietly the single most expensive item in the box, and a proper heritage-luxury pick rather than a moment-driven brand.
Medik8 C-Tetra Advanced Gel-Serum (full-size, 30ml) — a proper vitamin C serum in a genuinely useful size, from a brand that’s become a legitimate skincare-aisle favourite rather than a niche pick.
What we’d change
Nothing’s perfect, and a few things stood out as real downsides rather than nitpicks:
- The £75 CurrentBody voucher has strings attached. It’s only redeemable against selected devices, and only in person at Harrods Knightsbridge or an H Beauty store — worth knowing before you count it as straightforward value.
- Two of the lipsticks land in similar shades. We’d have liked the makeup selection spread a little wider.
- It’s skincare-heavy, which won’t suit everyone — especially if eye creams specifically aren’t your thing, since there are several in the mix.
The numbers
The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is £270, with pre-orders open now and dispatch from 10 September 2026. Harrods lists 32 products. Harrods’ own site explicitly marks 11 of them “(Full Size)”; counting a few more that are full items by nature rather than minis (the two Otis Batterbee tools, for instance), our own tally puts full-size items at 15 — a modest step up from last year’s 14, not the bigger jump to 21 we’d previously reported here. We’ve added up the individual RRPs of everything inside and it comes to just over £1,700; that’s our own working, not a figure Harrods publishes itself, so treat it as a rough guide rather than gospel.
By category, it leans heavily skincare (13 products), with makeup (9), haircare (5), bodycare (1), fragrance (1) and a handful of tools and extras (3) filling out the rest.

A note on the numbers: Harrods states 32 products, but our own count of everything on Harrods’ published contents list comes to 33 (the CurrentBody £75 voucher above is listed separately as an extra, not one of the 32). We haven’t guessed which single item Harrods excludes from its own headline count, so we’ve listed everything they publish rather than force the table to add up to exactly 32.
Who it’s perfect for
The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is built for luxury skincare lovers, basically. If you already reach for brands like these, or you’ve been meaning to try a few, this is a genuinely strong way in. It’s a weaker fit if you want fragrance variety or a wider makeup spread, or if £270 only makes sense to you because of a big headline value number rather than because you’d actually use what’s inside. If £270 is more than you want to spend at Harrods this year, the Harrods 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar 2026 is the smaller, hair-led option at £99. And if it’s fragrance variety you’re after, the Harrods Fragrance Advent Calendar 2026 holds 12 perfumes, seven of them full size.

FAQ
Is the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 worth it?
For luxury skincare fans, yes — 15 full-size products including some genuine cult favourites make this one of the stronger picks in its price bracket this year. It’s a weaker fit if you want fragrance or wide makeup variety.
How much is it, and when does it arrive?
£270, with pre-orders open now and dispatch from 10 September 2026. Free UK delivery on orders over £100.
What’s inside the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026?
32 products across 25 days (Harrods’ own count; our tally of everything they list comes to 33), including 15 full-size pieces from brands like Augustinus Bader, Charlotte Tilbury, Medik8 and Shiseido, plus a £75 CurrentBody voucher on top. Full list above.
Is it better value than last year?
It’s £20 more than 2025’s £250 calendar. Full-size products are up slightly on last year’s 14 — 15 by our count — though not the jump to 21 we’d previously reported.
Does it sell out?
Harrods’ matching Fragrance advent calendar sold out online within hours in 2026, so it’s worth pre-ordering the beauty calendar early if you want it.
