The Body Shop Classic Beauty Advent Calendar 2026: 24 Pocket-Sized Doors for £65

The Body Shop Classic Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 green box open with all 24 travel-size body butters, shower gels, hand creams and sheet masks arranged in front
The Body Shop Classic Beauty Advent Calendar 2026, £65 for 24 pocket-sized doors.

Four body butters, seven shower gels and shower creams, four hand creams and balms — the Classic calendar knows exactly what it is, and it isn’t pretending to be a skincare edit. This is The Body Shop’s own back catalogue in miniature: Mango, British Rose, Dewberry, Shea, Satsuma, Almond Milk, Strawberry, Coconut, Pink Grapefruit, all in the 50ml and 60ml sizes the brand has been putting in gift sets for decades. There are three sheet masks and a Camomile Cleansing Butter to break up the run of body care, and a Shea shampoo and conditioner pair at the end. At £65 for 24 doors, it’s the cheapest way into a full 24-day countdown that still comes from a brand you can name — and it’s a different proposition from the Ultimate calendar sitting next to it on the same page.

The numbers

The Classic Beauty Advent Calendar is £65 for 24 products behind 24 doors, and The Body Shop states it’s worth over £120. Every item is a travel or pocket size — the brand describes the whole thing as “24 moments of pocket-sized love,” and doesn’t claim any full-size products in this one. The category split runs seven shower gels and shower creams, four body butters, four hand creams and balms, five face items (three sheet masks, the Ginseng & Rice Facial Mask and a Camomile Cleansing Butter), two lip butters and two haircare. That’s 17 of 24 doors on body and bath, five on face, two on hair. Products are made with The Body Shop’s Community Fair Trade ingredients, and delivery is free with every advent calendar. It’s on sale now — no waitlist, no pre-order window.

Does it pique our interest?

What the Classic calendar does well is refuse to overreach. A lot of high-street calendars at this price stretch themselves across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance and end up with one weak sachet in each category. This one picks body and bath, commits, and fills 17 of its 24 doors with the products The Body Shop is actually known for. If you have ever had a tub of Mango Body Butter on a bathroom shelf, you know what you’re buying.

The scent range is the real draw. Mango, British Rose, Dewberry, Strawberry, Satsuma, Coconut, Almond Milk, Pink Grapefruit and Shea all appear, and several of them appear twice in different formats — a Dewberry body butter and a Dewberry shower gel, a British Rose body butter and a British Rose shower gel, a Mango body butter, hand balm and shower gel. That’s a useful bit of design rather than a lazy one: you get to pair a wash and a moisturiser in the same scent, which is how most people actually use these products.

The face content is small but sensibly chosen. Three sheet masks (Aloe, Vitamin E, Vitamin C) cover soothing, barrier and brightening, the Ginseng & Rice Facial Mask is a wash-off treatment rather than a fourth sheet, and the Camomile Cleansing Butter at 20ml is a genuine try-before-you-buy of one of the brand’s better-regarded products. Nobody is buying this calendar for its skincare, but five doors out of 24 is enough to stop the run of shower gels feeling repetitive in week three.

And the price does a lot of work. £65 is one of the lowest entry points for a 24-door calendar from a named high-street brand, and it lands in the bracket where a calendar can be a main gift for a teenager or a colleague without any of the awkwardness of a £200 box. It’s also a calendar you can buy for yourself in September without thinking about it too hard.

What we’d change

Three things are worth knowing before you buy — none of them a reason not to.

The first is the sizing. Everything here is a mini, and the shower gels in particular are 60ml rather than the 250ml bottles The Body Shop sells on shelf. That’s the trade-off the price demands, but it does mean most of these will be used up inside a week each rather than restocking your bathroom. If the point of a calendar for you is ending December with products you’ll still be using in March, this isn’t the one — the Ultimate calendar is.

The second is the repetition. Seven shower gels and shower creams out of 24 doors is a lot of the same format, and by the back half of the month you can end up opening a fourth 60ml bottle of something you already have two of. The scent variety softens this, but the format variety is thin.

The third is that the face and hair content is genuinely a sideline. Two haircare products, both 60ml, both Shea — that’s one wash. Five face items across a 24-day calendar is a garnish rather than a routine. If you want a calendar that builds a skincare habit across December, you’d want to look at one of the skincare-led calendars rather than this.

These are all consequences of one deliberate decision — build a body care calendar and price it at £65 — rather than mistakes.

Who it’s perfect for

This is a gifting calendar first. It suits a teenager opening their first proper advent calendar, a secret santa with a generous budget, a mum or grandmother who has liked The Body Shop for thirty years, or anyone who wants the ritual of 24 doors without spending more than a nice dinner out. It’s also a good fit if you like trying scents rather than committing to bottles — nine scent families across 24 doors is a genuinely wide sweep for £65.

It’s less right for you if you want products that last, or if you’re buying a calendar as a skincare project for December. If it’s the full-size bottles and the bigger body care formats you’re after and the budget stretches, the The Body Shop Ultimate Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is the same brand doing the opposite thing — 25 doors at £139, built around 250ml shower gels, 200ml body butters and a full haircare duo. And if it’s face skincare you want at a similar price to this one, a skincare-led calendar will serve you better than either.
