Ten hair products and a paddle brush is not how most beauty calendars open, and it is precisely how this one makes its case. Olaplex, Color Wow, Wella Professionals, milk_shake and Schwarzkopf are all in the drawer, with a Biodance mask, a Medicube collagen cream and a Yankee Candle Christmas Eve mini for company. Justmylook has spent years selling everyone else’s beauty and has finally built a box of its own, and it arrives with twenty-nine products in it for £79.99 — which makes it one of the fullest beauty advent calendars under £100 this year. Going straight for the hair aisle while everyone else stacks serums takes a certain nerve.
The numbers
The Justmylook Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is £79.99, and Justmylook put the contents at over £260. Twenty-nine products are spread across twenty-five days, so some doors give up more than one thing. Eleven of them are for hair, counting the brand’s own black paddle brush; eleven more are skincare; four cover body, nails and tanning; and three are given over to tools and home fragrance. Pre-orders open on 25 September, with the waitlist going live twenty-four hours earlier on 24 September and a mystery goody bag included for anyone who buys through it.
Does it pique our interest?
The hair selection is the reason to look twice. There is a bond builder in the Olaplex No.3, a repair shampoo from Wella Professionals, a leave-in from milk_shake, a deep mask from Fanola, a sealing treatment from Schwarzkopf and two separate anti-humidity mists, from Incredilox and OSMO. Add the Color Wow Dream Cocktail and the GROWUS damage therapy shampoo and you have a routine that runs from washing through treating to finishing, with a paddle brush waiting at the end of it. Calendars tend to offer hair as an afterthought, a conditioner sachet somewhere around the eighteenth. This one builds the whole thing.

The skincare drawer, meanwhile, has been shopping in Seoul. Biodance’s caviar PDRN mask, the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella cleansing foam, I’m From’s rice toner, the Medicube collagen jelly cream and SOME BY MI’s AHA·BHA·PHA cream make up the spine of it, and they are the sort of names that get bought on recommendation rather than advertising. Around them sits the reliable British bathroom cabinet: Weleda Skin Food, Aveeno’s oat gel moisturiser, Neutrogena Hydro Boost, Dr.PAWPAW. It is a sensible balance. The K-beauty gives you something to be curious about; the rest gives you something you will still be reaching for in January.
Then there are the flourishes, which is where a calendar either charms you or doesn’t. The Yankee Candle Christmas Eve mini is the obvious one, all candied fruit and warm spice over amber, vanilla and praline, and it is a far lovelier thing to find behind a door in December than in a gift set in October. The grace & stella eye masks come as four pairs, which is enough for a week of early starts. Cocoa Brown’s one-hour tan and the Nails Inc repair oil both arrive at a size you can genuinely get through. Small pleasures, but chosen with care.
What holds it together is that Justmylook has built the box it is qualified to build. This is a retailer whose whole business is salon and high-street brands at everyday prices, and the calendar reads like its own shop floor rather than a reach for a luxury it could not sustain. At £79.99 for a first outing, the ambition is discovery rather than indulgence, and there is something rather disarming about how openly it says so.
What we’d change
Our reservations here are about shape rather than substance.
The box contains a Brushworks powder and buff brush and a Beautyblender sponge, and nothing whatsoever to use them with. Two makeup tools and not a single complexion product is an odd note to land on, and one cream blush or a lipstick would have closed the loop.
The hero brands also arrive small. Olaplex No.3 comes in at 20ml, the Color Wow Dream Cocktail at 50ml and the I’m From rice toner at 30ml — enough to find out whether you like them, not quite enough to settle in with them. When those are the names doing the heavy lifting on the front of the box, a little more room would be felt.
And a handful of the everyday staples read more like a restock than a treat. The Palmer’s body oil and the Gem deodorant are perfectly good things to own; they are simply not things anyone opens a door hoping to find. Trading one or two of them for something less familiar would lift the whole run.
These are adjustments to a box that already knows exactly who it is talking to.

Who it’s perfect for
This one is for someone who washes, treats and styles their hair with intent, and who would rather meet ten new brands than own one expensive thing. It suits a beauty beginner or anyone assembling a routine from scratch, and it suits giving, because at £79.99 you can hand it over without any ceremony attached. It is not the box for a makeup collector, and it is not the box for anyone who wants fewer products in bigger sizes — if that is the buyer you have in mind, the ASOS Face + Body Advent Calendar 2026 is the better door to knock on.
Our Pique Verdict
Perfect for: Anyone building a proper hair routine, and anyone who would rather discover ten brands than own one.
Best product: Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream, 50ml — a cult K-beauty cream at a size you can actually finish.
Biggest drawback: Two makeup tools and no makeup to use them on.
Value for money: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
