Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026: £356 of Fragrance for £90

The Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026, an open white and gold calendar with its fragrances arranged around it
The Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026 — 15 products, £90. On sale now.

The Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026 costs £90 and holds £356 of fragrance. That is roughly four times what you pay, which is a claim plenty of calendars make and rather fewer of them earn. This one earns it, because the value is not built from 2ml vials and sachets. It is built from bottles you could actually finish. One small note before anything else: it is called 12 Days of Scent, but there are 15 products inside, so a few of the days give you more than one thing.

Does it pique our interest?

It does, and mostly because of the sizes.

There is around 139ml of perfume across the calendar, plus a 50ml Floral Street body mist and a 75g NEOM candle on top of that. Most of the fragrances are 10ml, which is the size that changes what a calendar like this is for. Ten millilitres is roughly 80 to 120 sprays. That is not a sample you spray once on a wrist in a shop and forget about — that is a scent you can wear for a fortnight and properly make your mind up about.

Then there is the Givenchy. L’Interdit Eau de Parfum is in here at 35ml, a genuine retail bottle worth £72 on its own. Nine of the 15 products are full-size, and only the Lancôme at 4ml and the Marc Jacobs at 5ml are small enough to count as true minis.

The brand mix is unusually broad for a high-street calendar. There are the names everyone knows — Givenchy, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Valentino — sitting alongside niche houses that rarely turn up at this price, like CRA-YON, TOBBA Parfums, Maison Louis Marie and Floral Street, and then the two celebrity fragrances, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish. It is a genuine spread rather than one house padding out twelve doors.

Pique Picks: what we’re most excited about

Pique Picks from the Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026: Givenchy L'Interdit Eau de Parfum, CRA-YON Sand Service Eau de Parfum, the Eilish + Eilish No.2 dual rollerball and TOBBA Parfums Asura Eau de Parfum

Our four Pique Picks from the Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026: Givenchy L’Interdit, CRA-YON Sand Service, Eilish + Eilish No.2 and TOBBA Parfums Asura.

TOBBA Parfums Asura Eau de Parfum (10ml, est. £30.50) — our Pique Pick of the calendar, and the product we would be most pleased to open. TOBBA is a young house most people will not have come across yet, and Asura is its warm, resinous, slightly smoky one. At an estimated £30.50 it is also the second most valuable thing in the box. Ten millilitres of something this distinctive is exactly the kind of find a fragrance calendar is supposed to deliver.

Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum (full-size, 35ml, RRP £72) — the anchor of the whole thing. A 35ml retail bottle of a modern Givenchy classic, sweet white florals over a darker patchouli base, and the single reason the value stacks up as quickly as it does. If it is already your signature, the calendar has more or less paid for itself on day one.

CRA-YON Sand Service Eau de Parfum (10ml, RRP £26) — CRA-YON is the London brand doing playful, unfussy scents with none of the ceremony, and Sand Service is its sun cream and warm skin one. It is the kind of fragrance people stop you about, and 10ml is enough to find out whether you are one of the people who loves it.

Eilish + Eilish No.2 Dual Rollerball (2 × 2.5ml, est. £12.50) — a small thing, but a nicely judged one. Two rollerballs rather than one bottle means two scents to layer, and rollerballs are the format you actually keep in a bag. Billie Eilish’s fragrances have been quietly well reviewed since the first one, and this is a low-commitment way in.

What we’d change

A few very familiar faces. La Vie Est Belle and Marc Jacobs Perfect are lovely, but they are also the two fragrances most likely to already be in the house. Another niche name or a newer launch in those two slots would have made a strong edit even stronger.

A lot of the value rides on one bottle. The 35ml Givenchy is a fantastic inclusion, but at £72 it is a big share of what you are paying for. If L’Interdit’s sweet white-floral profile is not for you, the maths still works — it just works less spectacularly.

Two of the sizes are properly small. The 4ml Lancôme and 5ml Marc Jacobs are the only products here that feel like samples rather than bottles, which stands out precisely because everything around them is so generous.

The numbers

£90 for 15 products across 12 days, which Boots values at £356 — a saving of £266, or just under four times the price in product. Adding up the individual RRPs ourselves gets us to about £351, using estimated prices for the handful of items not sold individually at that size, so the published figure holds up. That is our own working rather than something Boots publishes line by line, so treat it as corroboration rather than gospel.

Broken down another way, that is £7.50 a day, or £6 a product. For context, the single most expensive item in the calendar retails for £72 on its own.

It’s on sale now at Boots.

Who it’s perfect for

Fragrance lovers who want to discover something new without committing to a full bottle at full price. If you are the sort of person who has three perfumes on the go and likes choosing one to suit the day, this is the calendar of the season for you, and £90 is not a lot to ask for the chance to live with fifteen of them.

It also makes an unusually safe gift. There is enough here that is familiar — Lancôme, Givenchy, Estée Lauder — that it will land with someone who does not follow fragrance closely, and enough that is niche that it will still surprise someone who does.

It is a weaker fit if you want a proper beauty routine in a box, because there is no skincare or makeup in it at all, and only one product, the NEOM candle, that is not something you wear. If that is what you are after, the John Lewis calendar spreads 41 products across skincare, makeup and haircare, and Harrods leans into luxury skincare.

Our Pique verdict

Pique Verdict card for the Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026. Perfect for fragrance lovers who want to discover something new without committing to full bottles. Best product TOBBA Parfums Asura Eau de Parfum, est. 30 pounds. Biggest drawback, a lot of the value rides on one 35ml Givenchy. Value for money five out of five stars.

Does the Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026 pique our interest? It does, and on the simplest measure there is: what you get for what you pay. £90 buys a 35ml Givenchy, eight more full-size products, a NEOM candle and a genuinely interesting run of niche names, and almost nothing in it is a token. If fragrance is the thing you would most like to be given twelve days of, this is the easiest recommendation we have made all season.

FAQ

Is the Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026 worth it?

On value, yes, comfortably. £90 for a stated £356 of fragrance is close to four times the price, and nine of the 15 products are full-size rather than samples. The thing to check first is whether the fragrance edit suits you, because that is what you are buying — there is no skincare or makeup in it.

How much is it, and when does it arrive?

£90, and it’s on sale now at Boots.

Why does a 12-day calendar have 15 products?

Because a few of the days hold more than one item — the Eilish + Eilish dual rollerball is two scents on its own, for instance. The 12 refers to the days, not the product count.

What’s inside the Boots 12 Days of Scent Advent Calendar 2026?

Fourteen fragrances and one NEOM candle, across 12 days. Brands include Givenchy, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Valentino, Kayali, Zadig & Voltaire, Balmain, Maison Louis Marie, CRA-YON, TOBBA Parfums, Floral Street, Marc Jacobs, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish. Full list above.

Is everything full-size?

Nine of the 15 are, including the 35ml Givenchy L’Interdit and the 50ml Floral Street body mist. Most of the rest are 10ml, which is around 80 to 120 sprays. Only the 4ml Lancôme and 5ml Marc Jacobs are true miniatures.

How does it compare with the other calendars this season?

They are built for different people rather than ranked against each other. Boots is the one to choose if you want fragrance and a lot of it for well under £100. Liberty is the one for discovering brands you have not tried. Fortnum & Mason is the one for full-size bath, body and fragrance. Harrods leans luxury skincare, and John Lewis is the one for plenty to open from names you already know.
