Does it pique our interest?
It does, and it is the brand list that does it.Nine of the 24 products come from Korean skincare brands: Beauty of Joseon, Anua, Haruharu Wonder, Round Lab, TOCOBO, Mediheal, ZEROID, Dr. Reju-All and Genabelle. That is not one token K-beauty door tucked in among the usual high-street names — it is more than a third of the calendar, and it includes discovery-led brands like ZEROID and Genabelle alongside the ones that already have a following here.
It also feels genuinely current. PDRN, barrier repair, glass-skin essences, ampoule pads and a Korean sun stick are what people are actually talking about in skincare in 2026, and finding them in a Boots calendar rather than a specialist K-beauty box is the interesting part. This reads like an edit someone has curated this year, not a shelf-clear of perennial stock.
The sizing is generous in the places where it counts. The Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner is the full 200ml bottle, the Cetaphil is the 236ml, the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water is the 150ml and the Haruharu Wonder essence is the 120ml. These are the products you get through fastest, and they are the ones that have been given real volume.
Then there is the price. Three products — the £29.99 RoC eye cream, the £25 Curél eye cream and the £15.50 Beauty of Joseon essence water — come to £70.49 between them. That is the entire cost of the calendar covered by three of its 24 doors.
Pique Picks: what we’re most excited about

ZEROID Soothing Cream (80ml, RRP £26) — our Pique Pick of the calendar. ZEROID is a dermatologist-led Korean brand built around barrier repair, and this is the product in the box most likely to be finished. An 80ml jar is a lot of moisturiser, it suits sensitive and dehydrated skin, and it is the one thing here we would happily rebuy at full price.
Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Capsule Mist (100ml, RRP £22) — the most on-trend thing in the calendar and, unusually, a trend product that is actually pleasant to use. PDRN is the ingredient of the moment, and a mist is the easiest possible way to try it. Full 100ml bottle, not a travel size.
Curél Moisture Repair Eye Cream (25g, RRP £25) — 25g of eye cream for £25 is a lot of product, and Curél is a Japanese ceramide brand with a serious following among people with reactive skin. Eye creams are usually where calendars cut corners with a 5ml sachet, so a full pot stands out.
TOCOBO Cotton Soft Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ (19g, RRP £16) — the sun stick that gets recommended more than any other in Korean SPF, and the one product here that will still be earning its place in July. Full size, no white cast, and the format makes reapplication over makeup painless.
What we’d change
Cleanser overload. Two cleansing balms — the e.l.f. Holy Hydration! and The Inkey List Oat — plus the 236ml Cetaphil is three cleansers in a 24-day calendar. They are all good products, and the balms are different enough in texture that you could justify both, but it is a lot of one step.
Hydration dominates. The calendar leans heavily into hydration, barrier support and glow. If that is your skin brief, it is close to perfect. If your priority is pigmentation, acne or stronger active treatments, the only real answers here are the RoC retinol eye cream and the Hero patches, and you may find the balance frustrating.
A few non-skin extras sneak in. The Soap & Glory Vanilla Body Spray and the Boots Glossy Lip are perfectly nice things to find, but in something called 24 Days of Skin they read as doors that could have gone to skincare.
The numbers
£70 for 24 products across 24 days, which Boots values at more than £300. Our own tally of the published RRPs comes to about £336, and that still leaves the Clean Skin Club towels unpriced, so the real figure is a little higher again. Either way you are paying somewhere around a fifth of retail.
Broken down another way, that is £2.92 a day, and £2.92 a product. The most expensive single item, the £31.99 PRAI Ageless Throat & Décolletage Creme, is worth about 46% of what you pay for the whole calendar on its own.
The mix is 18 face skincare products, two lip, three bodycare and one skincare accessory. By value that is roughly £307 of face skincare against £29 of everything else, so this really is a face-first calendar rather than a general beauty box with skincare in it.
Two RRPs in our table are estimates rather than published prices. The Mediheal Collagen Ampoule Pads come as a 14-pad calendar size rather than the 100-pad pot Boots sells for £22, so we have worked it out proportionally at £3.08, and the single Dr. Reju-All mask is priced the same way. We would rather show you the maths than pretend a 14-pad sleeve is a £22 product.

Who it’s perfect for
Anyone curious about K-beauty who has not known where to start. That is the clearest case for this calendar. Nine Korean brands, most of them in full size, for £70 is a far gentler way in than building a routine one £25 bottle at a time — and it is all coming from Boots, with Boots returns and Boots delivery behind it.
It is a particularly good fit for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin. The ZEROID, the Curél, the Haruharu Wonder essence, the Round Lab toner and the Cetaphil are all built around comfort and barrier support rather than actives, and there is very little in here that would upset a reactive complexion.
It also works as a gift for someone who is into skincare but hard to buy for, precisely because so little of it is a shot in the dark. Cleansers, toners, essences, moisturisers and SPF are things a skincare person will always get through.
If you would like to go further into Korean skincare, Boots also sells the StyleKorean 24 Days K-Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 (£89.90), a dedicated K-beauty calendar that runs from cleansing oil to SPF.
It is a weaker fit if you already have a settled routine built on retinoids, acids or vitamin C, or if you want makeup in your calendar. For a skincare-and-makeup mix from the same retailer, the Boots 24 Days of Luxe is the one to look at, and if it is fragrance you are after, the Boots 12 Days of Scent covers that.
Our Pique verdict

Does the Boots 24 Days of Skin Advent Calendar 2026 pique our interest? It does, and more than we expected it to. It is great for glow and less so for serious actives, and the name promises a purity the body spray and lip gloss slightly undercut — but those are small things next to what this actually is. A properly considered K-beauty-led skincare edit, mostly in full sizes, from a high-street retailer, for £70. If hydration, glow and barrier repair are what you want from your skincare, this is the easiest £70 you will spend this season.

FAQ
Is the Boots 24 Days of Skin Advent Calendar 2026 worth it?
On value, comfortably. £70 for a stated £300-plus of skincare is around a fifth of retail, and the published RRPs add up to about £336 before the towels are counted. The thing to check first is whether a hydration-and-barrier brief suits your skin, because that is what you are really buying.
How much is the Boots 24 Days of Skin Advent Calendar 2026?
£70, and it is on sale now.
What is inside the Boots 24 Days of Skin Advent Calendar 2026?
Eighteen face skincare products, two for lips, three bodycare and one skincare accessory. The brands are e.l.f., Beauty of Joseon, Anua, The Inkey List, Haruharu Wonder, Round Lab, TOCOBO, Mediheal, ZEROID, Dr. Reju-All, Genabelle, Hero, BYOMA, Curél, Cetaphil, PRAI, RoC, HABI, Boots, Burt’s Bees, Soap & Glory, Nursem, Q+A and Clean Skin Club.
Is it a K-beauty calendar?
Not exclusively, but it is the closest thing the high street has to one this year. Nine of the 24 products are from Korean brands, and the ingredient story running through the whole calendar — PDRN, barrier repair, essences, ampoule pads, sun sticks — is drawn from K-beauty.
Are the products full size?
Most of them are, including the 200ml Round Lab toner, the 236ml Cetaphil, the 150ml Beauty of Joseon essence water and the 80ml ZEROID cream. The Mediheal pads and the Dr. Reju-All mask come as calendar sizes, and the Nursem hand cream is a 30ml travel size.
How does it compare with the other Boots calendars this year?
They are built for different people. This one is skincare almost end to end, the 24 Days of Luxe is a makeup-and-skincare mix with bigger brand names at £150, and the 12 Days of Scent is fragrance only at £90. All four Boots calendars for 2026 are collected on our Boots advent calendar hub.
