Twenty-six of the thirty-five products in this year’s Space NK calendar are full size, and the ones doing the heavy lifting are not the usual suspects. Medik8’s Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ serum, Olaplex No.3 PLUS, K18’s HeatBounce heat protectant and Rare Beauty’s Harmony brow gel are all recent launches rather than the same four or five names that circulate through every calendar each autumn. Around them sit Crème de la Mer, Sunday Riley’s Good Genes, Votary, Caudalie and an Augustinus Bader body cream. It’s £275, and unlike most calendars at this price it isn’t leaning on one hero product to justify the rest.
The numbers
The Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is £275 for 35 products across 25 doors. Space NK states the contents are worth over £1,200, and that 26 of the 35 are full size — the highest product count of any calendar we’ve covered this year, and one of the strongest full-size ratios with it. Space NK also states there are no repeats from its 2025 calendar.
The category spread is the widest we’ve seen: 11 makeup, 11 skincare, 5 haircare, 5 bodycare, 2 fragrances and one beauty tool. Nothing is token — the bodycare includes a 500ml body wash and a 100ml Augustinus Bader body cream, and the haircare runs from a 200ml Color Wow treatment to Olaplex and K18.

Does it pique our interest?
The first thing that stands out is how current the selection is. Calendar line-ups are usually a year or two behind, built from whatever brands had stock to commit in spring. This one reads like a shop floor in September: the Medik8 PDRN serum, the Olaplex No.3 PLUS reformulation, K18’s HeatBounce, Rare Beauty’s Harmony gel and Kulfi’s Lassi Lips oil are all things you’d have to go looking for rather than things you already own three of. Space NK’s “no repeats from 2025” claim supports the same impression.
The skincare is where the money is, and it’s a properly assembled edit rather than a pile of serums bought on price. Crème de la Mer and Augustinus Bader supply the luxury end, Medik8, Sunday Riley and Caudalie the active end, Votary and Skin Rocks the British end, and BYOMA, Laneige and Summer Fridays the everyday end. Someone could genuinely run most of a routine out of this box — cleanser, toner, serum, treatment, moisturiser, mask, eye patches — without buying anything else first.
The makeup does something similar on a smaller budget. Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Light Wand, Hourglass’s Unreal blush, Lisa Eldridge’s liner, Fenty’s Gloss Bomb and Glossier’s lip pencil are all recognisable names at full size, and the shades chosen are the wearable ones rather than the leftovers — Pinkgasm, Buff, a black liner, a brown lash tint. If the skincare is the reason to buy it, the makeup is the reason it doesn’t feel like a skincare calendar with a few extras taped on.
And the full-size count is difficult to argue with. Twenty-six full-size products in a 35-piece box is a beauty haul, not a sampler. The travel sizes that are here — the 15ml La Mer, the 15ml Tatcha, the two 7.5ml fragrances — are exactly the products you’d want to try before committing to at full price anyway.
What we’d change
Three things are worth knowing before you buy:
There are two full-size mascaras in the box — Kosas Soulgazer and Refy’s Lash Sculpt — plus the Refy lash curler. Two mascaras is one more than most people will get through before they dry out, and we’d rather one of those doors had gone to something else entirely.
The skincare edit is treatment-heavy. Between the Medik8 serum, Good Genes, the Caudalie dark spot serum, the Votary serum and the Patchology retinol-style night eye gels, there’s more active in here than any one face can take on at once, and some of it shouldn’t be introduced in the same week. We’d have swapped one intensive treatment for something gentler that everyone can use — an SPF, a mist, or a barrier cream.
The Refy lash curler is a pleasant extra rather than a headline. Pairing it with the Refy lash tint is sensible, and it will get used, but it isn’t the kind of item that carries a door on its own in a calendar at this price.

Who it’s perfect for
This is for someone who wants to refresh several parts of their routine at once rather than go deep on one. The skincare is the strongest single section, so a skincare lover gets the most out of it — but there’s enough full-size makeup, haircare and bodycare that nobody is left with a box of things they’ll never open. It also suits the shopper who likes moving between luxury names and the brands currently doing well on beauty shelves, since Space NK has put La Mer and Augustinus Bader in the same box as BYOMA, Kulfi and Saltair without either feeling like filler.
It’s less right for someone buying strictly within one category, or for anyone who’d rather have fewer, bigger things than 35 separate products to work through. If it’s fragrance you’re after, two 7.5ml eau de parfums won’t be enough — a dedicated fragrance calendar is the better buy.
