The numbers
The Fragrance Shop advent calendar 2026 is £150, or £120 if you are a MyTFS member — and a Fragrance Shop voucher and membership is itself one of the twenty-five doors. The Fragrance Shop puts the contents at over £400.
Nineteen of the doors are fragrance. Two of those are full-size 100ml bottles: Barbour Classic Eau de Toilette and FCUK Friction Her Eau de Parfum. Four more come at 30ml — Ariana Grande Ari, Vera Wang Embrace, Ted Baker and Missguided. Everything else is a miniature, running from 20ml down to 2.5ml. The remaining six doors are a Lily Flame Christmas Eve candle at 230g, a Find Your Glow frankincense mini candle, a MyTFS Twist & Spritz refillable atomiser, a Max Benjamin scented card, a Missguided make-up miniature and the voucher.
What piques our interest
Nineteen fragrances is a great deal of trying. Givenchy’s L’Interdit, Elie Saab Le Parfum and Miu Miu are all scents people circle for years in a shop without ever committing to a bottle, and ten millilitres is more than enough to find out. Zadig & Voltaire Zadig Intense and Moschino Gummy are the sort of thing you would never pick up unprompted and might well fall for. IKON’s 910 at 20ml is the wildcard — a house most shoppers won’t know, given one of the more generous pours in the box.
The extras are better than extras usually are. The Lily Flame Christmas Eve candle is a proper 230g object rather than a tealight, and the Twist & Spritz atomiser is the quietly practical door — something to decant into and carry in a coat pocket. Behind one of them is a full 100ml of Barbour Classic, a warm, well-made eau de toilette you could happily wear all winter.
What we’d change
We’d love one of the best-known designer scents in a bigger size. Givenchy arrives at 10ml, Elie Saab at 10ml, Miu Miu at 7.5ml, Moschino at 5ml, Coach at 4.5ml, Lancôme at 4ml and Lacoste at 2.5ml, while the two full-size 100ml bottles are Barbour Classic and FCUK Friction Her. A 30ml of L’Interdit or La Vie Est Belle would make the box feel as generous as its line-up.
We would also give back two doors. A voucher and membership is a marketing instrument rather than a present, and it makes for a flat morning on whatever day it falls. The Missguided make-up miniature is off-brief in a calendar sold on scent. Two more 10ml designer minis in their place and the whole thing tightens up.
