Anthropologie 24 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar 2026: The Underrated One

Anthropologie 24 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 box with Nephthys Foster illustrated artwork
Nephthys Foster’s artwork on the Anthropologie 2026 calendar: £98 for 25 products, 17 of them full size.

A £60 Grown Alchemist Regenerating Serum, a £38 Malin+Goetz Strawberry Perfume Oil and a £29 Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid, in a calendar that costs £98. Anthropologie has gone after brands most beauty calendars don’t touch — PHLUR, Joonbyrd, eyeam, Hair Syrup, Freck, Darling — and wrapped the whole thing in Nephthys Foster artwork with every product individually boxed. It is 25 products across 24 doors, 17 of them full size, and Anthropologie puts the worth at £400. This is the calendar in this year’s under-£100 bracket that nobody is talking about enough.

The numbers

The calendar is £98 and holds 25 products across 24 doors, so one day opens with a pair. Anthropologie states 17 of the 25 are full size and puts the total worth at £400. It’s an Anthropologie exclusive, available to pre-order now with an estimated ship date of 27 September 2026.

The spread is deliberately wide: seven skincare products, five haircare, five in fragrance and home fragrance, four in makeup and nails, and four in body and wellness. The two most expensive single items are both in their standard retail sizes — the Grown Alchemist Regenerating Serum 30ml at £60 and the Malin+Goetz Strawberry Perfume Oil 7ml at £38.

Packaging is part of the proposition here in a way it isn’t with most calendars: illustrated artwork by Nephthys Foster on the outside, and each product individually wrapped inside rather than dropped loose behind a door.

Does it pique our interest?

The brand list is the reason to pay attention. Most beauty calendars in this price bracket recycle the same rotation of beauty-box regulars, and this one mostly doesn’t — PHLUR, Joonbyrd, eyeam, Hair Syrup, Freck and Darling are names you’re far more likely to be meeting for the first time than restocking. That makes it function as genuine discovery rather than a top-up of things you already own, which is the whole point of a calendar if you’re buying it for yourself.

The fragrance section is stronger than the price suggests. Three personal fragrances — the full-size Malin+Goetz Strawberry perfume oil, the £29 10ml Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid and a 5ml PHLUR Father Figure — plus a This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and a Plum & Ashby mini candle. That’s a proper fragrance run, not the single token perfume sample that usually stands in for one, and the three scents pull in genuinely different directions: a non-sugary strawberry, a creamy vanilla and a cool green fig.

Skincare is where the value concentrates. The £60 Grown Alchemist serum on its own accounts for a substantial share of what you’re paying, and around it sit eyeam’s Inflammaging Skin Solution, the Darling Shield-Me SPF 50+ stick, an ESPA detox mask, Neal’s Yard Remedies’ Wild Rosehip Beauty Balm and Mario Badescu’s facial spray. Haircare is more playful — Hair Syrup’s Superfoods oil, a Mermade flyaway wand, Dr.PAWPAW’s 7-in-1 styler — and there’s a Slip x Anthropologie scrunchie that exists as much for the collaboration as for the function.

What makes it hang together is that it reads as an Anthropologie product rather than a beauty retailer’s calendar with a logo on the lid. The artwork, the individual boxes and the slightly leftfield brand choices all point the same way, and at £98 it is doing something none of the other sub-£100 calendars are trying to do.

What we’d change

Three things are worth knowing before you buy:

Makeup is barely represented. The Freck Cheekslime lip and cheek tint is the only real colour product — two lip balms and a nail treatment don’t add up to a makeup offering. If colour cosmetics are what you open a calendar for, this isn’t the one.

The electrolyte sachets are the odd note. Two powdered drink sachets broaden the wellness angle, but they are less of a moment to open than another beauty product would be, particularly when the headline promise is 25 products.

And a few doors are lighter than others. The scrunchie, the eye gels and the sachets sit alongside a £60 serum and a full-size perfume oil, so the day-to-day rhythm is uneven — some mornings are a genuine event and some are a nice small thing.

None of that undermines it. These are the trade-offs of a calendar that chose breadth and discovery over a uniform line-up, and we’d make the same choice.

Who it’s perfect for

This is for the person who wants a varied, discovery-led calendar and doesn’t want to spend £150 to £300 to get one. If you like meeting contemporary brands rather than restocking familiar ones, if you wear fragrance, and if the packaging matters to you because you might be giving it rather than keeping it, this is an easy £98. The Nephthys Foster artwork and the individually boxed products make it one of the more giftable calendars at any price this year.

It is less right for you if you’re buying primarily for makeup — there is almost none — or if you want every door to carry similar weight. If makeup is the priority at this price, the ASOS Face + Body Advent Calendar 2026 has the heavier colour line-up for £98. And if you’d rather everything in the box came from names you already know, the Boots 24 Days of Luxe Advent Calendar 2026 is built the opposite way round.

If £98 is more than you want to spend on a countdown, Anthropologie also does a smaller version — the 12 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar at £58, with thirteen products behind twelve doors and a Boy Smells travel perfume among them.
