Orange blossom and lavender on day one, salty sea air a week later, a spoonful of caramelised pineapple somewhere in the middle. The Perfume Shop Advent Calendar 2026 turns December into a slow tour of the fragrance counter, one small bottle at a time. Behind its 24 doors sit 23 designer minis from 18 houses, plus a silver Travalo so the one you fall for can come out with you.
It’s a proper high-street heavyweight of a line-up. YSL Libre, Lancôme La Vie Est Belle and Mugler Angel Fantasm share the box with a run of this year’s launches, and men’s and women’s scents sit side by side, which makes it a lovely perfume advent calendar to share.
The box itself is a pretty thing in burgundy, green and gold, and The Perfume Shop has designed it to be kept, with room to hold treasured bits and pieces once the doors are open. And £5 from every calendar goes to Look Good Feel Better, the charity that supports people living with cancer.

Does it pique our interest?
It does, and mostly for how new it feels. A good third of this fragrance advent calendar is made up of this year’s launches, which means you’re spritzing things before they turn up on every department store counter. Issey Miyake’s Lumière d’Issey is the one we’re most excited about: green mandarin brightening a glowing orange blossom heart, resting on creamy sandalwood. Zadig & Voltaire’s Zadig L’Intense is just as intriguing, opening on toasty sesame and ginger before settling into orange blossom and vanilla.
Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl Jasmine Absolute brings a softer side to the famous stiletto, all mandarin and blackcurrant, jasmine and a warm toffee finish. Jean Paul Gaultier’s La Favorite is a night-blooming flower wrapped in syrupy benzoin and tonka, and Rabanne’s Million Red for Her is sunshine in a bottle, creamy coconut and pomelo drifting into ylang-ylang and vanilla. Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess arrives here in its new Eau de Parfum, a 10ml of coconut, tiare flower and amber that smells like the last warm evening of a holiday.
Then there are the icons, the scents people already know they love or have always meant to try. Yves Saint Laurent’s Libre sits behind one of the doors, orange blossom and French lavender on a creamy bourbon vanilla. Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle is here too, pear and praline and powdery iris, alongside Mugler’s Angel Fantasm, a sweeter, fruitier take on the Angel star with pineapple and coconut.

The men’s side is just as considered. There’s Rabanne’s new Invictus Elixir, salty and mineral with a smooth vanilla base, and 1 Million Black, caramelised pineapple melting into dark woods. Aramis’s Intuition Intense adds honeyed osmanthus and soft leather, Cerruti’s VIVO Elixir brings saffron, suede and a little smoky oud, and Issey Miyake’s Le Sel d’Issey is the fresh one of the bunch, all sea air and seaweed. It’s a box a couple could share happily, or one to split between two people on your gift list.
For lighter, everyday wear, Versace brings three very different moods: Dylan Blush Pink is strawberry and apple drifting into soft marshmallow, Crystal Emerald opens on juicy peach and rosebud, and Eros Najim glows with mandarin, caramel and incense for evenings. Marc Jacobs’ Perfect is crisp rhubarb and daffodil softening into almond milk, the sort of easy, cheerful scent you reach for on a Monday. On the men’s side, Lacoste’s new L.12.12 Bleu Eau de Parfum is cool yuzu and a flick of ginger, Michael Kors’ Pour Homme Absolu pairs bergamot with a salty sea breeze, and BOSS The Scent is warm ginger and soft leather, a familiar favourite to round things out.
We love the little extras, too. Billie Eilish’s rollerball duo gives you two moods in one, Eilish’s sugared petals and cocoa at one end and No. 2’s bergamot and soft woods at the other. And the Travalo is the kind of practical treat you’ll use long after December: fill it from your favourite bottle and it lives in your bag.
What we’d change
If we could change one thing, it would be a few bigger bottles. Six of the doors hold 10ml, which is a decent amount: at roughly 100 sprays, it’s enough to wear a scent for a good few weeks and really get to know it. More than half of the line-up, though, is 4ml to 5ml, closer to 40 or 50 sprays, which is lovely for a first impression but gone a little too soon once you’ve found one you love. A couple more 10ml sizes, especially for icons like La Vie Est Belle and Angel Fantasm, would make the box feel even more generous.
And a small one: door 7 holds either the mango-bright Euphoria Solar Elixir or the smokier Bold, and you won’t know which until you open it. It’s a fun lucky dip, but if you’re buying for someone with a clear taste, it would be lovely to be able to choose.

Frequently asked questions
Is The Perfume Shop Advent Calendar 2026 worth it?
If you love trying new fragrance, yes. The Perfume Shop Advent Calendar 2026 costs £99 for 23 designer minis and a Travalo, with icons like YSL Libre and La Vie Est Belle alongside this year’s launches. The Perfume Shop doesn’t give a stated worth.
What’s in The Perfume Shop Advent Calendar 2026?
Twenty-three fragrances from 18 houses, including Yves Saint Laurent Libre, Issey Miyake Lumière d’Issey, Mugler Angel Fantasm, Rabanne Invictus Elixir and Carolina Herrera Good Girl Jasmine Absolute, plus a Travalo refillable atomiser. The full list is above.
Are the fragrances full size?
No. They’re minis from 4ml to 10ml, plus a 2 x 6ml Billie Eilish rollerball duo. A 10ml mini gives you roughly 100 sprays and a 5ml around 50, so there’s enough of each to wear for a while and see how it suits you.
What’s behind door 7?
One of two Calvin Klein fragrances: Euphoria Solar Elixir or Euphoria Bold Elixir, both 4ml. The Perfume Shop allocates them at random, so you’ll find out on the day.
Is it a good perfume advent calendar for beginners?
It’s a lovely one to start with. Most of the names are familiar, the scents range from fresh to sweet to warm, and the minis are big enough to wear for several days before deciding.
Is The Perfume Shop Advent Calendar 2026 the same as last year’s?
No. The 2026 perfume shop advent calendar contents are a new line-up, with launches such as Lumière d’Issey, Zadig L’Intense and Invictus Elixir, in a new burgundy, green and gold box.
